The assembled city-folk:

There's somebody walking round and round the city waving at us all today. The Concuspidor? Who? Oh, that idiot... doesn't he do this around every full moon? He's big at the Court isn't he? Well, I do know those boots are pointy... it may be very fashionable, but dangerous for our children, don't you think? I've heard that there have been some nasty impalations at the Court creches.

He's off on an adventure, is that it? Well, it's all very well for those types, but it's not exactly work, is it? A lot of waving at people, and going round the streets, again and again... I don't really understand it all myself... maybe there's a bit more to it than that, behind the scenes.

I prefer the ones where we get to pelt them with vegetables. But this isn't one of those is it? Is it? Shame.
